I was totally shocked to find that two of my housemates, thats fifty percent of my house didn't know this song. I thought everyone knew it. I've known it from a young age.
I don't quite know what it is about this song that I like but I do really really like it and consider it a nice treat when it comes on shuffle in Itunes.
It was written in1992 and was about his four year old son who had died falling from the 53rd floor of a building in New York.
Did you know:
- The song has received 3 grammys and has been inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame 3 times!
- He came 4th in the rolling stones magazine list of 100 greatest guitarists of all time despite originally struggling to learn the guitar when he was younger.
- He grew up thinking his mother was his sister.
