The answer is Blowin in the wind

I've been up an hour at the most and when I wondered what my Earworm was, well the answer was 'blowin in the wind'.

Yes, Bob Dylan - Blowin in the wind is the song of the day. Ask me why, I couldn't tell you.

I think it's a fair few to be honest.

This is quite a relaxed song. Most people view it as a song questioning freedom and peace. The Lyric:

"How many times must the cannon balls fly, before they're forever banned."

Is a good example of why people would consider it just that. It questions, perhaps whether or not these weapons will ever be banned because maybe if they were, peace may be more likely.?

I don't personally think it would make any difference and this world is one where peace is rare in all forms. Anyone agree?

'Blowin in the wind' was one of the first songs he release back in 1962 on his second album 'The Freewheelin''.

Dylan is a man of many talents, he has published three books with his drawings and paintings in. He has released 54 albums since 1962, almost one every year sometimes two a year. He expresses himself creatively and has a lot to say.

Did you know:
  • Blowin in the wind (as well as a couple other songs by Dylan) became anthems for the US Civil rights and anti-war movements.
  • In 1999 it was conducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
  • It came 14th on 'The Rolling Stones' magazine list of 500 GREATEST SONGS OF ALL TIME.
